ABBREVIATIONS

CH= Chain

DC= Double Crochet

SK= Skip

SL ST= Slip Stich

YO= Yarn Over

HEXAGON SHAPE

Begin with Magic Circle.

RND1: CH 3 (counts as first DC). In center of circle, DC, CH 1. [DC 2, CH-1] five times. Join in 3rd stitch of beginning CH-3.

RND2: SL ST 2 (to get to CH-1 space). CH 3 (counts as first DC). In CH-1 space: DC, CH 1, DC 2. [In next CH-1 space, DC 2, CH-1, DC 2] five times. Join in 3rd stitch of beginning CH-3.

RND3: SL ST 2 (to get to CH-1 space). CH 3 (counts as first DC). In CH-1 space: DC, CH 1, DC 2. SK 2 stitches, DC 2 in between stitches. [SK 2 stitches. In CH-1 space: DC 2, CH 1, DC 2. SK 2 stitches. DC 2 in between stitches] five times. Join in 3rd stitch of beginning CH-3.

RND4: SL ST 2 (to get to CH-1 space). CH 3 (counts as first DC). In CH-1 space: DC, CH 1, DC 2. [SK 2 stitches, DC 2 in between stitches] two times. [SK 2 stitches. In CH-1 space: DC 2, CH 1, DC 2. SK 2 stitches. DC 2 in between stitches, SK 2 stitches. DC 2 in between stitches] five times. Join in 3rd stitch of beginning CH-3.

Next RND and every RND after:

*2 DC, CH 1, 2 DC in every corner space to make corner.

*2DC in between every 2 DC to make hexagon side. (no CH on sides).

TO CHANGE COLORS

Option 1: During 2nd SL ST, switch colors: insert hook, YO with new color, pull through all loops.

Option 2: After join, finish off. Join new color with SL ST in CH-1 space.
